How to Build Strong Client Relationships
10 May 2007

Clients hire a Professional because of their reputation or availability; they stay with the Professional because of the service they receive and because of the relationship that both parties create.

Here's how to do more of this.

1. I am ahead of my clients: I know what is next for them and they know I know this.

2. I tell my clients what I want for them.

3. There is virtually complete trust between my clients and me. They tell me everything that I need to know to be able to help them professionally.

4. I do extra things for my clients regularly.

5. I am proud of my clients and enjoy their company.

6. I don't put up with much from my clients.

7. My clients bring out my best work, consistently.

8. I work only with the clients who are right for me and who are ready for my services.

9. I educated, instruct, and show the good client how to be a great client.

10. I only work with clients who bring out my best and keep me developing myself.
